Today after breakfast, make a round trip to Jaisalmer. Night at Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer means “The hill fort of Jaisal”. The architecture of the Fort and the town comprises Yellow Sandstone, therefore, giving a resemblance to gold colour. The famous Indian film Director Satyajit Ray, wrote a popular detective novel – Sonar Kella “The Golden Fort” based on this fort, with the backdrop of Rajasthan; which was later made into a movie.
